Hire the ARRI Alexa Mini LF in London from £700/day. Large-format ALEXA sensor in the compact Mini body. Collect from Stoke Newington N16.
The ARRI Alexa Mini LF puts ARRI's large-format sensor into the compact Mini body, and you can hire it from Yellow Cactus in Stoke Newington, N16 for £700 a day.
It combines the size and low weight of the original Alexa Mini with the ALEXA LF sensor, so you get the shallow depth of field, wide field of view and smooth roll-off of large format without a big camera build. It records ARRIRAW and ProRes, has built-in ND filters, and uses ARRI's LPL mount for large-format glass, with adapters available for PL lenses.
Why crews pick it:
The ARRI Alexa Mini LF product page lists exactly what's in the kit, with the current day and weekly rates. Build the rest of the package (lenses, media, power, monitoring and wireless video) from our full kit list.
On a tighter budget, the Super 35 Alexa Mini gives you the same ARRI image in a smaller format. The RED V-Raptor X 8K is the other large-format option on our shelf, and our anamorphic sets are worth a look if you want a wider, more cinematic frame.
