Hire the DZO Arles T1.4 full-frame prime set in London from £220/day: 25, 35, 50, 75 and 100mm, 46.5mm image circle, PL or EF. Collect from N16.
The DZO Arles T1.4 prime set is DZOFilm's full-frame cinema prime line, and you can hire it from Yellow Cactus in Stoke Newington, N16 for £220 a day.
What's in the set:
Why crews pick the Arles: a fast T1.4 across the whole set gives you shallow depth of field and low-light headroom on large-format bodies. The look is clean, with gentle contrast and smooth focus fall-off, and the lenses share the same gear positions, so swapping on set doesn't mean re-rigging the follow focus.
Arles or Arles Lustre? Both share the same optics family and coverage. The standard Arles is clean and modern; the Arles Lustre adds warm amber flares and highlight bloom for a more vintage, romantic look. If you can't decide, hire both and shoot a test at our counter.
Good camera matches: the Sony FX6, ARRI Alexa Mini LF and RED V-Raptor X all have sensors the Arles covers edge to edge. For zooms with the same coverage, see the Catta Ace zooms. Add the KOOP magnetic filters for quick UV and ND changes.
Every DZO set we stock is on our DZO lens hire page, and our guide to which DZO lens to hire compares the lines side by side.
Collection and returns are from Unit H1, 2 Leswin Place, London N16 7NJ, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. If it's your first hire, please register a production account before ordering. Call 020 7898 3322 or email rentals@weareyellowcactus.com.
