V-Raptor [X] takes RED's large-format 8K VV sensor and adds the global shutter that made the Komodo so popular. That means no rolling-shutter skew on fast pans, car work or strobing lights, and you still get the frame rates, low-light performance and resolution the V-Raptor line is known for. It records REDCODE RAW, so there's plenty of room in the grade, and the body weighs just over 4lbs, which keeps it practical on a gimbal, a Steadicam or a car rig.

The V-Raptor X 8K is £650 a day at Yellow Cactus. Longer hires get cheaper per day: three days are charged as 2.5 days, four as 3 days and Monday to Friday as 3.5 days, and your basket shows the exact total for your dates before you send the order.
Yes. Collect after 4pm the day before and return by 11am the day after, and those aren't charged as hire days. A one-day shoot only costs one day.
Saturday and Sunday (and bank holidays) aren't charged day by day: a weekend counts as a single hire day. Collect on Friday after 4pm, bring it back on Monday by 11am, and you pay for one day.
