Astera Hire LondonAstera Titan tube and AX1 pixel tube kit hire in Stoke Newington, N16. Battery-powered RGB tubes for music videos and practicals.Astera tubes are a favourite for music videos, fashion and anything that needs colour in shot. They're battery-powered RGB LED tubes that you can hide in a set, hang as practicals, or line up for a graphic look, and each one can be controlled wirelessly so you can change colour and effects without touching the light. We stock two Astera kits:

Astera Titan Tubes kit: Astera's flagship tube. It's weather-resistant, runs for hours on its internal battery and is bright enough to work as a key or fill as well as a practical.

Astera AX1 Pixel Tubes kit: the earlier Astera tube, still a great tool when you want lots of individually controllable pixels for chases, flicker and colour effects.

Both kits come in their own cases with the accessories listed on each product page, so you can see what you're getting before you order. Because the tubes run on batteries, they're handy for locations where mains power is awkward, and for small sets where you don't want cables running across the floor. The current day rate for each kit is shown below. Click through to the product page to see exactly what's in the case and the weekly price.Astera tubes work well alongside our Aputure lights and INFINIBAR kits if you want more colour sources, and you'll find stands, clamps and Magic Arms on our grip hire page for mounting them.If it's your first hire with us, please register a production account before ordering; we need it before kit can go out. Collection and returns are from Unit H1, 2 Leswin Place, London N16 7NJ, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.Want to check how many tubes you need, or how they'll play with the rest of your lighting?
