Hire the Freefly Ember S5K high-speed camera in London from £500/day. 800g body, internal 4TB SSD. Collect from Yellow Cactus, Stoke Newington N16.
The Freefly Ember S5K is a compact super-high-speed camera, and you can hire it from Yellow Cactus in Stoke Newington, N16 for £500 a day.
High-speed cameras used to mean big, heavy bodies and a dedicated technician. The Ember weighs just 800g and records continuously to a 4TB internal SSD, so you can roll on long takes without worrying about buffer limits. That makes proper slow motion practical on product shots, food, sport, liquids, music videos and anywhere you'd normally struggle to fit a high-speed rig.
Why crews pick it:
The Freefly Ember S5K product page lists exactly what's in the kit and the current rates. High-speed work eats light, so it's worth looking at our lighting hire page too, and you'll find lenses, power and monitoring on our full kit list.
For moving high-speed shots, the Ronin 2 is a good match. If you need high frame rates at higher resolution, the RED V-Raptor X 8K is the other option on our shelf.
Kit is collected from and returned to Unit H1, 2 Leswin Place, London N16 7NJ, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. If it's your first hire, please register a production account before ordering. Questions about camera hire? Call 020 7898 3322 or email rentals@weareyellowcactus.com.
The Freefly Ember S5K is £500 a day at Yellow Cactus. Three days are charged as 2.5 days, four as 3 days and Monday to Friday as 3.5 days, and your basket shows the exact total before you send the order.
It records continuously to a 4TB internal SSD, so you're not limited to short burst takes.
