Hire a Dana Dolly with 3m track in London from £85/day, with or without combo stands. Collect from Yellow Cactus, Stoke Newington N16.
The Dana Dolly is the quickest way to get smooth tracking shots without a full dolly and track crew, and you can hire one from Yellow Cactus in Stoke Newington, N16 from £85 a day.
It's a heavy-duty camera dolly platform that rides on 16 custom soft polyurethane wheels, which resist flat-spotting, with ABEC-7 precision bearings for very smooth moves. It runs on 3m lengths of schedule 80 aluminium pipe, machined and threaded at the ends, and the universal track ends let you set it up on the floor, on apple boxes or raised up on stands.
There are two versions on our shelf:
Each product page lists exactly what comes in the kit and the current rates. It's the go-to for interviews, product shots, slow push-ins and short lateral moves, and it fits in a car.
If you want to move with the camera instead, an Easyrig or the Ronin 2 might suit better. Stands, apple boxes, sandbags and the rest are on our grip hire page and full kit list.
Kit is collected from and returned to Unit H1, 2 Leswin Place, London N16 7NJ, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. If it's your first hire, please register a production account before ordering. Questions? Call 020 7898 3322 or email rentals@weareyellowcactus.com.
